Ricardo "N", Lupita TikTok's partner, arrested for rape

MEXICO CITY (apro).- Ricardo “N,” Lupita TikTok's partner and father of her daughter, was arrested for his alleged responsibility in the crime equivalent to rape against a person with cognitive vulnerability, in reference to the 22-year-old woman, reported the Attorney General's Office of the State of Nuevo León.

The 47-year-old man was arrested by ministerial police in the municipality of Juárez, based on an arrest warrant obtained by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Femicides and Crimes against Women.

The authorities accuse him of the crime "comparable to rape, perpetrated through abuse against a person with cognitive vulnerability, having had sexual relations resulting in the conception of a daughter without being, due to the victim's nature, in a position to bear said child," according to a statement from the state prosecutor's office.

He was then held in a State Social Reintegration Center, where he remained at the disposal of the Control and Oral Criminal Trial Judge of the State of Nuevo León, pending his initial hearing and the determination of his legal status.

Initial investigation reports indicate that Ricardo "N," nicknamed "El Sonrics Medellín," allegedly had sexual relations with the influencer, who is cognitively vulnerable, an act that resulted in the birth of a daughter who is now one month old.

However, due to the nature of the victim's disability, the authorities presume that she was not in a position to give valid consent to the relationship or to assume the responsibilities of motherhood.

The young woman is known on social media for the humorous content of her posts. She recently announced her pregnancy and introduced Ricardo "N" as her partner.

On April 27, the now detained man and the young woman took their daughter, just 14 days old, to the Regional Maternal and Child Hospital in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, for care.

There, doctors detected signs of dehydration, fever, and neglect. So, as protocol dictates, they immediately notified the authorities.

To date, the minor remains in the hospital with a reserved prognosis, subject to medical development.

On April 28, Mariana Rodríguez, director of the Nuevo León DIF and wife of Governor Samuel García, reported that the influencer's daughter could be taken into the care of the DIF, on her program "Capullos."
